The RS series soft-cable pneumatic manipulator uses compressed air as its power source, and the whole machine is pure air controlled and does not require electricity.

The robotic arm uses the principle of pneumatic balance to calculate the corresponding gas pressure and flow based on the pressure difference, and achieves "zero-gravity operation" entirely through a safe gas circuit.

The cylinder is filled with compressed air, which, through the pneumatic control system configured by Ferran, provides load balance for the clamped workpiece. The pressure of the cylinder is controlled by two specially arranged pneumatic circuits: one to keep the load weight balanced, and the second to always keep the unloaded system balanced. The operator can change the load level by applying minimal force to the operating handle or directly to the loaded workpiece.

The operator can push and pull the material accordingly to move it effortlessly in space and place it correctly at any position within the operating range of the robot arm.
